Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Vortyx Pulse collects, why, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account details from Google sign-in: your email address, name and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
- Your content: chat messages, files you attach (we store the extracted text), and short "memories" the assistant saves from your chats so it can help you better.
- API keys: we store a hash and a short prefix of each key, not the full key.
- Usage data: request counts and token counts, used for your quota and limits.
- Payments: the plan, the amount, the coin and the transaction reference you submit. We do not collect card numbers.
- Reports: messages you send through "Report a problem".
- Browser storage: your sign-in token and some preferences (such as selected model or voice) are kept in your browser's local storage.
2. How we use it
To sign you in, run the chat, voice and API features, apply your plan limits, verify payments, answer reports, keep the Service secure and fix bugs. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Services we rely on
To provide the Service, parts of your data are processed by these providers:
- Google for sign-in (and web search, when you switch search on).
- Render for hosting our servers and database.
- AI model providers that generate replies. Your message text is sent to them for that purpose.
- Hugging Face for text-to-speech, which receives the text to be spoken.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. In Settings you can delete your chat history, delete saved memories, and delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your API keys, chat history and payment records.
5. Security
We use encrypted connections, store only hashes of API keys, and limit access to your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your keys private.
6. Children
The Service is not meant for children under 13.
7. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
8. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, sign in and use "Report a problem" in the chat sidebar.
